ABSENTEE BALLOTS

IMPORTANT: Even if you applied for an Absentee Ballot for the Primary, you MUST apply again for the General Election, even if you checked off the General Election box on your original application. Please note if you do not apply again, you will NOT receive an Absentee Ballot for the General Election.

If you plan to vote absentee, please submit the application right away! As with the Primary, please check off “Temporary Illness” as the reason (in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, ALL voters this year can use this as the reason to apply).

The New York State Board of Elections has just started an Absentee Ballot Application portal online so you can now apply for your ballot electronically.
